#OctTBR2022 Day 8: “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien

What It Is: Probably the most famous piece of fantasy literature produced in the last 100 years.

Why I’m Reading It: Before you start flaming me in the comments, I *have* read this series before. However, I realized a few weeks back that I first and only time I read this series was 20 years ago. In fact, I remember reading this very copy of the book between training sessions during a temp job in the spring of 2003. It seems only fitting that I pick the book up exactly 2 decades later and revisit old friends.

Have you read The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit before? If so, have you read them more than once? Also, how disappointed in me are you that I’ve taken so long to revisit it? Let me know (if you must) in the comments!
